This is an 8 year old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, bottled by Fragrant Drops. It was distilled on 1 February 2018 and bottled on 9 February 2026 at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. The last two years of its maturation were spent in a fresh Pedro Ximénez quarter cask, which adds to the maritime, peaty character of the distillery. Tasting notes mention raisin, date and fig jam, together with dark chocolate.
