Carpathian Whisky Fetească Neagră Cask (70cl, 46%)

Carpathian Fetească Neagră Cask is a small batch Romanian single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Carpathian has made whisky at the Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery, near the Carpathian Mountains, since 2016, using 100% malted barley and sub-Carpathian water. The whisky spent over three years in 200L select bourbon barrels made from white American oak. It was then moved to Fetească Neagră red wine barrels of freshly sourced, toasted European oak, where it finished for one year.
