Carpathian Peated Bourbon Cask is described as Romania's first peated single malt whisky. It has matured for four years in bourbon casks and is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The malted barley comes from Belgium and is smoked with Scottish peat, giving a phenol content of 35ppm. The peating is light, which leaves a smoky flavour alongside the sweetness of the malt.
