A Cerasuolo Superiore d'Abruzzo from Azienda Agricola Contesa, made exclusively from Montepulciano grapes. Its intense pink colour recalls ripe cherry skin. Maceration on the skins gives structure and complexity, while ageing in steel preserves freshness and fruity aromas. The nose shows strawberry, pomegranate and floral notes with a light spicy hint; the palate is fresh, balanced and savoury with good persistence. It suits fish dishes, light first courses or white meats.
