Chardonnay di Puglia IGP 'Primadonna' from Varvaglione is a white wine from Puglia. It is straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose is intensely fruity, with green apple, ripe pear, citrus, floral notes and fresh almond. On the palate it is fresh and balanced, with good acidity, creamy texture and medium body, finishing persistently with brioche and vanilla notes from lees ageing. It pairs with fish dishes, white meat and medium-aged cheeses, and also works as an aperitif.
