A red wine from Puglia, made by Varvaglione from selected Primitivo grapes. It is deep ruby with violet reflections. The nose shows ripe red fruit such as plum and cherry, with vanilla and dark spice from light ageing in barrique. On the palate it is full and harmonious, with balanced tannins and a long, persistent finish. It suits red meat roasts, game and aged cheeses.
