Château de Briat Hors d'Age Armagnac

This is a Bas-Armagnac distilled at Château de Briat in the village of Mauvezin-d'Armagnac. It is made entirely from Baco, single-distilled on a classic alambic Armagnacais still fired by wood, and aged for approximately 15 years. On the nose it opens with tarragon and chewy sweets. The palate moves to dried apricot, fresh fennel and dusty coriander. The finish is long, with red apple skin, treacle and a faint note of preserved stone fruit.
