This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Chicken Cock, made with wheat in place of rye in the mash bill. It is distilled and aged in Kentucky in new charred American oak barrels, and bottled at 47% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is honeyed wheat bread, vanilla, soft oak, caramel and light fruit. The palate is creamy and sweet, with toffee, baked apple, warm biscuit and a little spice. The finish is smooth and lingering, with vanilla cream, toasted oak and soft wheat grain.
