Chief's Son 900 Standard Single Malt Whisky (60%) (70cl, 60%)

Chief's Son 900 Standard Single Malt is an Australian whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 60% abv. It is drawn from the same barrels as the flagship 900 Standard. At this strength the whisky keeps a larger share of the oils, esters and flavours that come from the malt and the oak, which gives a darker, denser and waxier character. The nose is typically described as baked stone fruits, dark vanilla, old sherried oak, caramel and toffee, with sweet tobacco. The palate is big and round, with dark malts, sherry, dark chocolate and liquorice. The finish is long, warm and sherried.
