Chief's Son The Tanist is an Australian single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in two types of oak, a approach described as double wood.
American oak is credited with the early honey, sweet vanilla and citrus character, while French oak brings stone fruit, dark toffee and old sherry flavours.
The malt is rich and oily, with a honey-like mouthfeel and a long finish.
