Ultis is the first blended malt Scotch whisky from Chivas Regal. It was made in honour of the five generations of Master Blenders behind the brand, and it brings together single malts from five Speyside distilleries: Allt-á-Bhainne, Braeval, Longmorn, Strathisla and Tormore.
It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is richly honeyed, with fiery cinnamon, tinned peaches and crumbly fudge. Poached pear, clementine and a touch of persimmon run through the palate, with slight drying barley. The finish brings sugared peels, dark chocolate and a pinch of ginger.
