Clan Denny Or Sileis Caol Ila 2010-2020 Devil with its Cat (70cl, 57.4%)

This is a Caol Ila single malt from Islay, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2020 for the Or Sileis label from Clan Denny. It was matured in a hogshead and bottled at 57.4% in a 70cl bottle, with 313 bottles filled. The label takes its theme from a visit to the distillery shore at dusk, with the distillery cat and the smoky air. The nose is elegant smoke with ripe mango. The palate opens with rich tropical fruit, followed by pepper and a little bread and grain. The finish is sweet, like soft gummy sweets.
