This is a 10 year old Jamaican pure single rum from Clarendon, made from molasses and distilled in a pot still. It was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2023 as the Alex Webb Edition of the Magnum Series #2, at 60% vol.
It matured in bourbon casks and has an ester content between 10 and 60 g/hlpa, which gives a full, complex profile. No colouring, chill-filtration or sugar is used.
The nose offers tropical fruit and the sweetness of candied fruit, with fine spices and a touch of liquorice.
