Clonakilty Galley Head Blended Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Clonakilty Galley Head is an Irish blended whiskey bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines single pot still whiskey distilled at Clonakilty with grain spirit brought in from elsewhere. The whiskey is matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in ex-Rhum Agricole casks. It is bottled without added colour and is chill-filtered. The nose is usually described as tropical fruit and vanilla with a light sweetness. On the palate come apple crumble, honey and cloves, with more tropical fruit, and the finish is spicy with citrus notes.
