Clonakilty Single Pot Still Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Clonakilty Single Pot Still is an Irish single pot still whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46%. It is the first of its kind from the Clonakilty Distillery, which has used malted and unmalted barley from its own family fields since 2019. No colouring has been added. The whiskey matured near the Atlantic coast in ex-bourbon, Amontillado sherry and Oloroso sherry casks. The nose brings vanilla sweetness, brown sugar, citrus zest and kiwi. On the palate come vanilla, caramelised apple and pear, woody spice, dark chocolate and orange. The long finish carries sea salt and caramel.
