Clyde May's Alabama Whiskey is a four-year-old American whiskey aged in oak barrels, made as a tribute to Clyde May and his own Alabama recipe. It has been distilled since 1946, became legal in 2001, and carries the title of Official State Spirit of Alabama.
In the glass it is a deep bronze. The nose brings rich caramel, dried orchard fruits and green apple. The palate is warm and medium-bodied, with black pepper, hints of anise and toasted oak, leading to a smooth finish.
