Clynelish – 15 Year Old 2009/2025 Hogshead Hunter Laing Old Malt Cask (70cl, 50%)

This is a single cask Clynelish, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2025 at 15 years old and 50%. Hunter Laing released it in its Old Malt Cask series, which is reserved for particular single casks. The whisky spent its whole maturation in a hogshead, and 320 bottles were filled. Independent bottlings of Clynelish are uncommon. The nose is light smoke, salted caramel and raisins. The palate is fruity, with apricot, honey and candied almonds, and the finish is long and complex with lingering sweetness.
