Clynelish The Jazz Crescendo is a 10 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the Special Releases of 2023, in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled at natural cask strength after maturing exclusively in first-fill bourbon American oak casks.
The Malt Master drew on the honeyed flavours and smooth, waxy texture of Clynelish to create a whisky inspired by classic American jazz, and a wildcat appears on the bottle.
The nose begins mineral and maritime, then turns sweeter and rounder with an earthy note. The palate is vanilla-sweet and rich, with a hint of saltiness and pepper, leading to a long, spicy finish. Caramel and vanilla spice run through it.
