Compass Box Affinity (70cl)

Compass Box Affinity is a spirit drink that brings Scotch whisky and Calvados together in a 70cl bottle. It is made up of 38% Calvados Pays d'Auge from Christian Drouin, mainly aged in French barrique, 29% Highland malt blend from custom French oak barrels of three toast levels, 20% Speyside single malt finished in first fill sherry butts, and 13% blended Scotch aged in refill sherry butts. Compass Box have blended Calvados with Scotch for years, and the pairing is described as apples and spice against dried fruits and vanilla. The Calvados adds intensity and length to the finish. It can be served over ice, or mixed with amari and vermouth for a twist on the boulevardier.
