Connemara 12 Year Old is a peated Irish single malt from the Cooley distillery, in a 70cl bottle.
Its smoke sits alongside notes of vanilla, honey and apple.
The nose is fresh and lemony, with fairly light, oily peat, a hint of apple and pear, some vanilla and creamy malt. The palate is sweet and silky, with earthy peat, vanilla, cream and malt, and subtle smoke. The finish is light and of medium length, with vanilla, spicy fruit and traces of smoke and spice.
