Copenhagen Distillery Refined Edition is a Danish single malt made entirely in Copenhagen. It is fermented, distilled and matured in the city, and it is bottled at 54.9% ABV in a 50cl bottle.
The nose combines heather honey, sweet malt, brown toast, liquorice and dry oak, with a subtle phenolic note. On the palate there is intense brown sugar, spice, liquid barley and liquorice, with beechwood smoke and structured oak tannins. The finish is long and warming, with malt sweetness, spice, dry oak, a little smoke and lingering liquorice.
