Coppercraft Blend of Straight Bourbon is an American bourbon from Holland, Michigan, bottled at 50% in a 750ml bottle. It marries house-distilled bourbon aged for at least four years with bourbon aged for over eleven years, made from corn, rye and malted barley. The two are brought together using blending and proofing methods borrowed from French brandy, over three months from barrel to bottle.
The nose is caramel and vanilla with mature oak, baking spice and brown sugar. The palate has molasses, dark caramel, chocolate, stone fruit and maple syrup. The finish is long and warming, with vanilla, peppery rye and toasted oak.
