Copperworks – American Single Malt Whiskey R35 (75cl)

This is Release 35 of Copperworks American single malt, in a 75cl bottle. It was the distillery's first release to use Baronesse barley, grown by Joseph's Grainery and malted by LINC Malt, both in eastern Washington State. Four casks of whiskey distilled from Baronesse barley were combined with two casks distilled from the pale malt recipe. All six were aged for at least 39 months in charred new American oak. The nose is fresh and grassy, with lemon pound cake and hints of pineapple. The palate offers silky browned butter and more fresh grain. The finish is long, with sassafras, mint and fruit leather.
