Copperworks – American Single Malt Whiskey Release 038 (75cl)

Copperworks Release 038 is an American single malt. It was put together from six casks of whiskey distilled from Baronesse barley and two casks made to the distillery's standard pale malt recipe. A further 5% is whiskey matured in a Manzanilla sherry cask, the first time Copperworks has used one. All nine casks were aged for at least 39 months. The nose has rum raisin ice cream and pear balsamic. Fig conserves and baked pears come through on the palate, and the finish brings hazelnuts, fruit leather and dark cherry candy.
