Corowa Bosque Verde Australian Single Malt Whisky (50cl, 46%)

Corowa Bosque Verde is an Australian single malt from Corowa Distilling Co., in a 50cl bottle at 46% ABV. It was the distillery's second release. An earlier bottling was made at 56.6%, and this one was released to show the whisky at 46%. It is matured for no less than two years in ex-Port American oak barrels. The name is Spanish for green forest and belongs to the farm that supplies most of the barley. Each bottle is hand written with the date of distillation. The nose brings cherries, pear, raisins, spice, oak and hints of chocolate. The palate is spicy, with cinnamon, nuttiness and malt, and the finish is long and sweet with a hint of vanilla.
