Corowa Private Notes is an Australian single malt in a 50cl bottle, matured in ex-Apera casks. Apera is a local fortified wine similar to sherry.
It is made in small batches at the historic Corowa Flour Mill.
The nose is led by toffee and dried fruit, with vanilla and almond and a little spice beneath. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with spiced honey, figs and roasted nuts over rich malt. The finish is soft and warming, with dried fruit, oak and mellow spice.
