Private Notes is a Federation Cask Release from Corowa Distilling Co., matured in an Apera (sherry) cask and bottled at 46% in a 50cl bottle. The name nods to long nights spent pondering Australian Federation, a question a notebook belonging to Sir John Quick could not settle.
The nose is floral, with sweet caramel, honey and hints of oak. On the palate it is soft, with gentle spice, caramel and honey. The finish is lingering, with soft oak and sweetness.
