Year of the Rabbit is the 2023 release in the Corowa Lunar New Year Series from Corowa Distilling Co. The whisky was matured in an ex-bourbon cask that had previously held chardonnay, then filled with slightly peated new make spirit. The barrel sat at the top of the bond store.
It is bottled at 48.8% in 70cl bottles, with 238 bottles released. The whisky is described as rounded and well integrated, with buttery, creamy notes and a whisper of smoke.
