The Ben Buckler is an Australian single malt from Corowa, created in collaboration with Larry Emdur. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It combines ex-Tawny Port and Bourbon barrels, giving a whisky with approachable sweetness and a savoury character.
The nose brings raisin toast, sweet floral peat, campfire and toasted marshmallow, with lemon peel, oak, citrus cheesecake, Allen's banana lollies and marmalade. The palate offers white pepper, sweet custard, baked apple and caramel. The finish is long and soft, with marmalade and creamy almond.
