Corowa Year of the Rabbit is the 2023 release in the Corowa Lunar New Year Series, bottled at 48.8% in a 700ml bottle. The release numbers 238 bottles.
The whisky was matured in an ex-bourbon cask that had previously held chardonnay, and was filled with slightly peated new make spirit. The cask sat at the top of the bond store to draw as much flavour as possible from the wood.
It is described as well rounded, with buttery, creamy notes and a whisper of smoke.
