Corsair Dark Rye

Corsair Dark Rye is a rye whiskey made from 61% malted rye, 4% malted chocolate rye and 35% malted barley. Because it uses malted barley rather than corn, it is technically both a rye whiskey and a malt whiskey. Its flavour and colour come from the malted grains, distillation and small barrel maturation, with no artificial flavours or colours added. On the nose, rye and citrus fruit lead, with a hint of chocolate. The palate is chewy and viscous, with rye malt spice, oaky sweetness and subtle chocolate. The finish is clean, with a lingering chocolatey rye.
