Cotswolds Bourbon Cask Single Malt (70cl, 59.1%)

Cotswolds Bourbon Cask is an English single malt from the Cask Expressions Collection, bottled at a cask strength of 59.1% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. It matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak, which came from Kentucky. The barley comes from the Cotswolds and is floor malted, then fermented with two yeasts, Anchor and Fermentis. The nose combines vanilla with the sweet scent of honeycomb. The palate is malty and full-bodied, with light sugar syrup and ripe orchard fruit. The finish is long and warming, leaving gentle spice and lasting sweetness.
