Cotswolds Bourbon Cask Single Malt (59.1%)

Cotswolds Bourbon Cask is an English single malt matured entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon casks from Kentucky, made of American white oak. It is the distillery's first bottling matured solely in bourbon wood. The spirit was reduced to 63.5% ABV before filling, and the whisky is bottled at 59.1% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The barley is grown locally and traditionally floor-malted. The nose is decadent vanilla cream with a touch of malt. The palate brings raisins, caramelised figs and delicate vanilla, and the finish is slightly earthy with a hint of honey.
