Cotswolds Founder's Choice is a cask strength single malt made with 100% locally grown, floor-malted barley.
It is aged exclusively in STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) ex-red wine casks, the favourites of the distillery's founder, Dan. The casks were devised by the late Dr Jim Swan, the founder's mentor and a renowned whisky consultant, and they work on a fruity new make spirit.
The maturation brings strong notes of toffee, chocolate and red fruits, along with a deep colour. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
