Cotswolds Founder's Choice – Small Batch 04/2019 (70cl, 60.5%)

Cotswolds Founder's Choice Small Batch 04/2019 is a limited-edition English single malt from Cotswolds Distillery, bottled at a cask strength of 60.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Only 2,500 bottles were released, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered. It was selected from STR American oak casks that previously held red wine. The casks were planed, toasted and re-charred, which gives a fruity, spicy character. The nose offers dried fruit, chocolate and vanilla. On the palate come red fruit, toffee and spicy oak, followed by a long, powerful and warm finish.
