This is a limited edition English single malt from Cotswolds Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 52.5% ABV. Golden Wold is the first release in the distillery's Harvest Series, made to reflect the Cotswold landscape.
It was matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon, STR red wine and peated whisky casks.
The nose offers sun-dried hay, honey and vanilla. The palate brings silky custard, toasted oak, cocoa nibs and warm baking spices, and the finish carries gentle wafts of peat.
