Golden Wold is the first limited release in the Harvest Series from Cotswolds Distillery, an English single malt in a 70cl bottle. It was inspired by the landscape around the distillery.
The whisky is a marriage of ex-bourbon, ex-red wine and ex-peated whisky casks.
The nose offers honey, vanilla and soft peat smoke. On the palate come sweet cream, coconut, oaky spice, cinnamon and vanilla, with wisps of peat smoke that linger into the finish.
