Cotswolds Sherry Cask Single Malt (70cl)

A single malt from the Cotswold Distillery, made from a marriage of selected sherry casks and sold in a 70cl bottle. The casks are American and Spanish oak hogsheads and butts. Some were seasoned with oloroso sherry and others with sweet Pedro Ximenez, and they are blended into a rich, fruity whisky. The nose brings fruitcake, spiced apple, brown sugar and candied ginger. On the palate the fruitcake returns, joined by nutty dark chocolate and orange peel.
