Cotswolds Sherry Cask Single Malt (57.4%)

Cotswolds Sherry Cask is a single malt from the Cotswolds Distillery in England, which was founded in 2014. This is the first edition of an annual release, bottled at 57.4%. It is made from a selection of sherry casks, American and Spanish oak seasoned with Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry, and the whisky is fully matured in them. The nose is demerara sugar, cherry pie and roasted beans. On the palate there are dark red fruits, chocolate and lightly toasted nuts. The finish is peppery oak and dried sherry fruits.
