Cotswolds Sherry Cask Small Batch Release Single Malt (70cl, 57.4%)

This is a single malt from the Cotswolds Distillery in England, made from locally grown Odyssey barley. It was matured in former American and Spanish oak casks, with Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry shaping the character, and bottled at 57.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and free of added colour. The small batch release runs to 9,900 bottles. The nose shows clear sherry notes with roasted coffee beans. On the palate there is chocolate, stone and dried fruit and roasted nuts, with oak spice alongside.
