Courage & Conviction Cuvée Cask

Courage & Conviction Cuvée Cask is an American single malt, distilled, matured and bottled at the Virginia Distillery Co. in Lovingston, Virginia. It is made from 100% malted barley and matured for a minimum of four years in first-fill European red wine Cuvée casks, treated with shaving, toasting and re-charring to release sugars and aromas. It is bottled at natural colour and is not chill-filtered. The nose offers plum, dark raspberry, chocolate torte and clove. The palate brings tart cherry, blood orange, cocoa and burnt sugar, and the finish has candied walnuts and ginger.
