Acquesi is a Brut sparkling wine from Cantina Cuvage in Acqui Terme, made from Cortese under the Marengo Piemonte DOC. It is produced by the Martinotti method.
The colour is a brilliant yellow with a slight greenish tint, and the bubbles are light and fine. The nose is of green apple, flowers and exotic fruit.
It works well as an aperitif, and with fresh first courses or fish dishes.
