Cyrano Armagnac 50 Year Old (75cl)

This is a 50-year-old Armagnac from Cyrano, distilled in the Armagnac region of France and matured for roughly five decades in oak casks. The long maturation gives a velvety texture and a balanced, layered character. It suits slow sipping, neat, in a tulip or brandy glass. On the nose there is dried fig, walnut, leather, cocoa, old oak and dark caramel. The palate brings toffee, dates, spiced orange peel, roasted nuts, vanilla and polished wood, followed by a very long, warming finish of spice, oak and gentle sweetness.
