Daftmill – 13 Year Old 2012/2026 Winter Batch Release

A 13 year old single malt from Daftmill, a single farm estate distillery in the Kingdom of Fife. It was distilled at Christmas 2012 from Concerto barley grown in the farm's own south fields, harvested in September 2011 and malted in spring 2012. Maturation ended in February 2026, in first fill bourbon, Oloroso sherry and PX sherry casks. Daftmill distils only in the quieter parts of the farming year, midsummer and deep winter. The nose offers honey, coconut and fine dried fruit. The palate is creamy, with toffee and walnut, dark chocolate and a hint of coffee, finishing dry and spicy.
