Daftmill 15 Year Old Fife Strength is a single malt from the Daftmill distillery in the Lowlands, made from optic barley. It was distilled in 2009 and matured for 15 years in 19 first-fill ex-bourbon casks and one Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, then bottled in 2024.
This is a limited release at 56.3% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is tropical and richly sweet. Barley sugar and malt come through on the palate, and the long finish brings sweet dark fruit with a light sherry touch.
