Daftmill – 15 Years Old Fife Strength 2026 Release

Daftmill 15 Years Old Fife Strength is a single malt from a family-owned farm distillery in Fife, released in 2026 in a run of 3,294 bottles. The whisky was distilled and filled between November 2010 and the end of January 2011, then matured on the upper level of Warehouse 2. It was drawn from seventeen first fill ex-bourbon barrels and bottled in June 2026 at cask strength, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The barley was the Publican variety, grown in the farm's 43-acre field, harvested in late August 2009 and malted in Alloa the following summer. The casks add depth, sweetness and texture while the distillery's fresh character still comes through.
