Daftmill – 2006 Summer Release (2018)

Daftmill 2006 Summer Release is a Lowland single malt from the family-owned Daftmill Distillery, a small farm distillery in Fife. It was distilled in the summer of 2006 and bottled in 2018 as part of the distillery's seasonal series. The whisky was drawn from seven ex-bourbon barrels, and the release was limited to 1,665 bottles. It is described as showing orchard fruit freshness, honeyed sweetness and the richness of bourbon cask maturation.
