Daftmill 2008 Summer Release is a Lowland single malt from the family-owned Daftmill Distillery, a small farm distillery in Fife. It was distilled in the summer of 2008 and bottled in 2019.
The whisky was drawn from six first fill ex-bourbon barrels, and 1,760 bottles were filled. It is a seasonal, small-batch release.
Orchard fruit, honey, malt sweetness and vanilla are the flavours associated with it, alongside a lively influence from the bourbon casks.
