Daftmill – 2009 Summer Release (2020)

Daftmill 2009 Summer Release is a Lowland single malt from the family-owned Daftmill Distillery in Fife. It was distilled in August 2009 and bottled in 2020 as a small-batch seasonal release. The whisky was drawn from five casks, a mix of bourbon and sherry, matured in the distillery's traditional dunnage warehouses. In all, 1,875 bottles were filled. The sherry casks add a touch of sherried depth to the orchard fruit and honeyed sweetness associated with Daftmill.
