Daftmill 2010 Winter Batch is a Lowland single malt from the family-run farm distillery in Fife, released as part of its seasonal series. It comes from 25 first-fill ex-bourbon casks, filled in November and December 2010 and bottled in 2023, using Publican barley grown on the farm's own fields.
It is bottled at 46% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose offers fresh-cut grass, green herbs, yellow fruit, apple and pear, with floral notes and vanilla. The palate is soft and balanced, with lemon cream, vanilla custard and chamomile. The finish is medium in length, balancing sweetness and dryness.
